Scottish kicker paste
ingredients for 4 people:
250 g Kipper fillets with no haul or bones
50 g soft butter
1 small onion (about 50 g)
1 Eßl. Lemon juice
1 Cayennepfeffer plug
1 Muskatnuß plug, freshly grated
1 bunch parsley
Per serving about:
1000 kJ / 240 kcal
14 g protein 20 g of fat
2 g of carbohydrates
Preparation time: about 15 Minutes
1. Finely chop the kipper fillets and stir in a bowl with the butter. Finely chop the onion and stir in.
2. The spread with the lemon juice, the cayenne pepper, season with the grated nutmeg and some salt.
3. Wash the parsley, pan dry, remove the coarse stems and chop finely. Serve the kipper paste sprinkled with the chopped parsley. It goes well with toast or black bread.
